meetings
The CQSA meets six times a year at The Farmer's Club, located at 3 Whitehall Court, London SW1A 2EL, which is close to Embankment Tube station and Charing Cross mainline station. Meetings generally take place on the fourth Friday* of January, March, May (AGM), June, September and November.
Meetings are held over an excellent lunch with wine and preceded by a Speaker - all within a relatively informal schedule.
The following is a sample menu from our delayed June 2023 meeting:
We gather at 12:30pm for drinks and sit down at 1:00pm for lunch and our Speaker. The meeting normally lasts until around 3:00pm.
Members are encouraged to invite professional colleagues and clients as guests. The only rule - imposed by the Farmers Club - requires meeting attendees to be smartly dressed in a jacket and tie.
Our meetings provide a time to network, to discuss business, the industry and the professions.
Past Speakers have covered a wide range of professional topics, including:
- HS2 Infrastructure Cost Planning
- Disaster Recovery in Business
